Helt Wedding {Paso Robles}

Kasey has been a dear friend of mine since I moved to California so it was an honor being the photographer for her and Dan's wedding on Saturday at Still Waters Vineyard. There is no greater joy in capturing a friend's big day...yes, I found myself torn between holding back tears at the reality of my friends becoming husband and wife, but I loved it. Kasey was radiant...I don't know if that word even does it justice. She looked absolutely beautiful in an effortless way. Dan was handsome and calm but his goofy side definitely was free to come out when he was around his bride. It's fun being behind the camera watching your friends laugh as they interact with one another...it's a unique glimpse at the playfulness they have in their relationship.

As for the day, it was perfect from start to finish. Still Waters Vineyard has everything from the scenic rows of vines representing Paso Robles, an olive orchard making one feel they are in a secret garden and a perfect lawn for mingling, eating and dancing. The night quickly got started with dancing after Phil's Catering family style dinner. Guests did not hold back and were on the dancing floor until the last song. Kasey and Dan were truly surrounded by all their friends and family for the celebration...exactly what they hoped for. Congratulations sweet friends!

Cochran Wedding {Atascadero}

Jason and Chelsea have to be one of the most tender couples I have seen together in awhile. You can definitely tell that their "sweet spot" is cuddling into the other...a blessing to capture. Their wedding was on one of the hottest days this year but it definitely did not distract from the wedding. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Atascadero Lake Pavilion and it was a perfect fit for them. Everything ran smoothly all the way down to the amazing food provided by Pacific Harvest Catering and the extraordinary music by AMS.

Nate + Shannon's Engagements {Paso Robles}

Words cannot sum up how much fun I had with Nate and Shannon on Friday evening. They had me smiling (and laughing) behind the camera while capturing their interactions for their engagement session. It was amazing! Nate has such a witty personality and Shannon has a beautiful smile so combining them makes a perfect pair full of life. I could easily tell how much they enjoy one another's presence and how they will have a fun marriage. Wow...I cannot wait until their wedding!

Wyatt + Davida's Wedding {SLO}

What a couple!...Wyatt and Davida were a joy to be around on Saturday. We started the day off at the Cliff's Resort and then ventured over to the Mission in San Luis Obispo for the ceremony. I love the opportunity of working at the Mission since I can take the couple around downtown as well as enjoy the unique character the sanctuary has to offer. Wyatt and Davida had a lovely ceremony followed by an incredible reception at Holland Ranch. Situated in the outskirts of SLO, Holland Ranch was a perfect fit for their personalities.
