Cody + Ashley's Engagements {Paso Robles}

What an incredible time I had with Cody and Ashley on Sunday! We met at Ashley's folk's ranch in Paso Robles for the engagement session and I was blown away with what I had to work with...everything was beautiful and the lighting was perfect. Ashley has some of the most brilliant blue eyes I have seen in a long time and Cody has a priceless smile. Together they are quite a catch! After this shoot, I was smiling at the thought of their wedding in April...breathtaking is all I can say.

Alex's Senior Portraits {Paso Robles}

I love shooting senior portraits for some of the high school kids I know through Young Life. Alex has been an amazing student with us throughout the years. She has an incredible heart to serve and an admirable sense of making sure others always feel included. For her shoot, we ventured around a spot in Atascadero and ended at the beach in Morro Bay. I laughed as we drove out of the north county where it was 95 degrees outside and pulled into Morro Bay where it was 58 degrees...needless to say, I was a bit jealous of Alex's cozy sweatshirt! Alex is a beautiful teenager and I am so excited for her senior year. Blessings, my friend!

50th Celebration

I love seeing families celebrate the longevity of a marriage. Saturday I had the joy of capturing a 50th anniversary for some amazing parents who were surrounded by their two children's families. The whole shoot was covered in laughter and humor...it was awesome! I cannot wait for Chris and I to catch up...we have a few more years to go...42 more years then counting. :)

Little Family Update

It's not often I have the camera out for my own family...sad, I know. My folks were in town a little while ago so we ventured to the beach and I took my camera. Yes, my daughter was the stylish child sporting the diaper sagging down to her knees since we didn't bring her bathing suit, but it honestly did not stop her have squealing the entire time. She loves being outside, loves the beach, and absolutely loves her Dad.

Michael + Tammy's Wedding {The Cliffs Resort}

Michael and Tammy could not have gone wrong with having their wedding at The Cliffs Resort. Being situated right on the beach and having a beautiful day, the backdrop was gorgeous for this couple's wedding. Tammy was a true beauty was she glowed throughout the day and Michael's smile was enough to make anyone smile along with him. Seeing the two of them interact together and hearing how they spoke of one another was a blessing to me. I am excited for this new journey for them both!

The tent on the Cliffs' lawn looks out upon the beach and provided the perfect location for the reception. Using a light teal and a splash of coral as accents throughout the tent, the ambiance was set for a fantastic night. An assortment of food awaited the guests as they were invited to eat with a pan toasted pasta bar, fresh cut meat and huge buffet bar to choose from. A live band kept the guests laughing and dancing throughout the night...including a solo from Tammy's brother-in-law. I must say, I was impressed! All in all, it was an amazing wedding and I have no doubts Tammy and Michael enjoyed every second.
