Associate Kayla: Ryan Wedding {Peacock Farms}

I first met Katie many years ago at a bachelorette party for one of my good friends. I instantly enjoyed being around Katie. She was funny, outgoing, and spunky--just my kind of person. We kept in touch over Facebook for years. As I got to know Katie better through Facebook, I began to see that not only was she awesome, but she was genuinely a good, warm-hearted person. When she announced that she was engaged, I just knew that Katie wouldn't have settled for anything less and that Kevin must be the same. I was elated when she contacted me about taking pictures of her wedding; and even more excited when she said it was going to be at Peacock Farms. Kevin and Katie were just perfect for each other. Kevin was looking clean and sharp in his khaki suit and Katie was just as stunning in her dress and killer mint shoes. The day went flawlessly. It was so encouraging to see two people, so in love, and so perfect for one another become one. Congratulations you two!

Associate Kayla: Villafana Family {Paso Robles}

What an honor it was to do take the Villafana Family's pictures. I had the privilege of assisting Ashley many years ago for their wedding, and now, seeing their beautiful family, brings me full circle. Emmett was the cutest darn thing I've ever seen! I shamelessly was trying to marry own 3 year old daughter off to him. Not only was he well behaved and sweet, but he was full of personality and smiles, which makes my job easy! This wasn't Erin and Charles' first rodeo so both of them fell right in to place. I couldn't stop telling them how easy they were making it on me. And may I add...Erin was just as beautiful and glowing today as she was on her wedding day. All and all it was an amazing day and I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to be their photographer.

Associate Kayla: Jason and Joanna's Engagements {Still Water Winery}

Jason and Joanna have one of the most amazing stories. First of all, they flew here from Texas for their engagement session and are getting married in April at The Cliffs. How in the world did they decide to get married here? Well they pretty much spun a globe and put their finger on Pismo Beach, California. How awesome is that? And to top it off, they met on an online dating site even though they lived in the same town! I found myself smiling at how sweet they were together and amazed at how all of these random events had to have happened for them to be standing in front of me having their engagement pictures taken. They picked the perfect time to have their engagements done at a winery, because it was just a few days later that all of those beautiful leaves were gone. And in my opinion, it was the prettiest time of the year. Congratulations to you both!

Associate Kayla: Carroll Family {Edna Valley}

It was a few days before Christmas and 70 degree's outside when I arrived at the Carroll's beautiful country property in Edna Valley. I knew immediately this was going to be an easy shoot. I was further delighted to find out that one of Mrs. Carroll's daughters was a former bride! Shannon and Dustin now have a beautiful baby boy (who Ashley just took newborn pictures of) who was absolutely adorable. With a beautiful day, on a beautiful property, with a photogenic family, a few spunky dogs, and a skunk sighting, it made for a perfectly picturesque shoot. Happy New Year to you all.
