Associate Kayla: Chris + Jennifer {Atascadero Lake Pavilion}

I first met Chris and Jennifer when I did their engagement pictures at the end of last year. I knew then that their wedding was going to be sweet and intimate. One of the reasons that I love engagement sessions with a future bride and groom is because of it's ablity to break down any camera shyness that the couple may have. They rocked their wedding pictures. Jennifer was drop dead gorgeous. Rhonda Johnson did an amazing job at taking Jennifer's naturally beautiful features and making them pop. Chris looked handsome in his grey suit studded with superhero cufflinks. It was a beautiful day at the Atascadero Lake Pavilion. Although there was rain in the forecast, there wasn't a drop the whole day. Instead, the clouds provided us with a wonderful filter that made taking pictures a breeze. Kramer Entertainment topped off the night with some amazing music that had everyone out on the dance floor. It was a pleasure photographing Chris and Jennifer and their sweet love for each other.

2012 Mother's Day Mini Sessions {Atascadero}

You know you are a mom when you edit pictures of other moms with their children and get teary eyed! I found myself rather emotional while working on these pictures because I know how rare it is to capture pictures with my own children...it's time for a Blake family photo shoot. Needless to say, the 2012 Mother's Day mini sessions were a hit! We ventured into a green field close to the Atascadero Pavilion on the Lake and we were all pleasantly surprised with the outcome...it truly looks like we are in the middle of nowhere all by ourselves. Thank you families for the joy of capturing your beautiful families!

The Van Patten Family {Atascadero}

Handsome, Stunning, Beautiful and Adorable...my four words for this family of four that is so dear to my heart. Kayla is the other "mastermind" behind A. Blake Photography and I consider it a true privilege to take her pictures. Clearly Kayla is beyond beautiful and her two daughters literally take your breath away with their big eyes, perfect skin and blonde hair (oh...and Aaron, you are ridiculously good lookin')! I could have kept posting and posting but I forced myself to attempt to show a little self control. Hope you enjoy these as much as I did taking them!

Cochran Wedding {Atascadero}

Jason and Chelsea have to be one of the most tender couples I have seen together in awhile. You can definitely tell that their "sweet spot" is cuddling into the other...a blessing to capture. Their wedding was on one of the hottest days this year but it definitely did not distract from the wedding. Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Atascadero Lake Pavilion and it was a perfect fit for them. Everything ran smoothly all the way down to the amazing food provided by Pacific Harvest Catering and the extraordinary music by AMS.
