Bainbridge Family {See Canyon}

This family is just beautiful. Period. I look forward to seeing them each session and the incredible outfits Danielle selects. Even better though, Miss Kinsey has truly grown before my very eyes the last 18 months and what a breathtaking little one she has blossomed into. Her sweet personality and smile could melt anyone's heart. Merry Christmas Bainbridge Family!

Colligan Reception {See Canyon Fruit Ranch}

Rob and Julie are such a unique couple! I love being with them and have enjoyed getting to know them more and more throughout this year. When I first met with them both, they told me about their creative planning for their wedding this year. The wedding ceremony was held in August at Hearst Castle (AMAZING!) and the reception was in October at the See Canyon Fruit Ranch. I love how they put a different spin on the entire wedding and made it fit their needs. Honestly, I don't think they could have had two better and different venues to celebrate at. The ceremony was captured by my associate Kayla where Rob and Julie were surrounded by only immediate family. The day was perfect and the pictures at the castle were incredible (click here to view). I had the joy of capturing the reception this past Saturday despite the clouds and potential rain. I must say I have learned this year to enjoy shooting in the rain since it has happened more than I thought! A surprise to all the guests, they were already married and the guests were coming to celebrate, eat and dance. I love it! Robert + Jillian's Engagements {See Canyon Fruit Ranch}

It's always good to be on your toes...and rain definitely forces that thought. I met up with Robert and Jillian yesterday for their engagement session at the See Canyon Fruit Ranch. All day I kept checking the weather since my phone kept saying rain. Needless to say, the phone was not correct until the moment I pulled up to the fruit ranch. I had to laugh and then quickly called Jillian. Luckily for me, they were willing for an adventure and we took a swing at the shoot. The rain held off for the first 5 minutes then quickly came afterwards. We ran to cover and then decided to embrace the opportunity to shoot in the rain. Bless Jillian's heart, she had her hair done perfectly before the shoot only to have the rain to fall, however, she still looked beautiful and enjoyed her time with Robert. Naturally I wish we could have double the length of the shoot for more options, but all things considering, it was a great time.
