Associate Kayla: Turley Twins {Bakersfield}

When Kayla and her husband heard that their Aunt was going in to labor, they jumped in the car and raced to Bakersfield. Surrounded by family, she delivered TWO healthy, beautiful babies. Big Brother kept watch over his new babies while making sure his mommy was okay too. It didn't take long for everyone to figure out their personalities. Baby Boy, Owen, was calm and mellow. He didn't make a peep, and gave only have a frown, when he got his first bath. While baby girl, Athen, showed her outspokenness and stayed awake to look around the room, after her bath. Congratulations big brother Eian, mom, and dad! Kayla looks forward to watching these two grow up.

Beginning Ballet Class {Paso Robles}

Are you ready to melt?! I got to capture my daughter's sweet ballet class pictures yesterday and I don't think they could be anymore precious. There is something so priceless about a group of beautiful little girls dressed in ballet dresses. Wish them luck...they have their first recital Saturday. They are dancing to "A Spoonful of Sugar"...makes me smile.

Associate Kayla: Surprise Proposal {Atascadero}

This weekend, Kayla had the opportunity to capture a once in a lifetime moment--a proposal. Garner had contacted Kayla with the hopes of surprising his girlfriend, Ashley, with a proposal and he wanted it captured on camera. Kayla and Garner sat down and planned out how it would all happen. Garner had told Ashley to a dress cute and that he had a surprise for her. Upon arriving, Garner introduced Kayla the "surprise" and told Ashley that he had planned an impromptu photoshoot for her birthday. Little did she know that that wasn't all he had planned. Kayla and Garner had prearranged a destination on the beautiful private ranch in Atascadero where he would propose. Once they arrived there they got into position and Kayla snapped away. Under a big oak tree, Garner dropped down on one knee and pulled out the little black box he had been hiding in his boot since early that morning. Ashley was surprised and moved to tears. They spent the rest of the shoot taking engagement pictures around the ranch. Garner couldn't take his eyes off of Ashley the entire time and Ashley couldn't stop smiling at both Garner and her new beautiful ring. Kayla was honored to have been able to capture such a special moment for the both of them. She said "yes" by the way.

Gordon + Jennifer's Wedding {Pismo Beach}

There is something so wonderful about a small, intimate wedding with close friends and family...add on a beautiful day at Pismo Beach and an amazing dinner at Giuseppe's and I think we have reached perfection. Gordon and Jennifer's wedding was simply wonderful. Just being around them makes you want to be their friend by how inviting and inclusive they are. Jennifer was absolutely stunning as she walked down the long staircase at Pismo Beach where she exchanged wedding vows with Gordon and their adorable son. (Yes, I found myself a bit teary eyed as always) I loved how they included little Jordan into the ceremony in such a personal way to celebrate the uniting of this great family. The reception followed at Giuseppe's in Pismo with a perfect ambiance for an evening under the stars. All in all, I loved every second of this wedding and consider a joy to work with amazing clients like Gordon and Jennifer.
