Associate Kayla: Carrillo Wedding {San Juan Bautista}
Friday, November 08, 2013
We began our day in the little down of Greenfield. We were greeted by a live mariachi band who played music for the whole neighborhood. After Mariel put on her dress--which was stunning--we drove to the San Juan Bautista Mission. This mission is to die for; it was grand. No corner was untouched without a pop of detail. Once there we met Fernando, who was as cool as a cucumber as he modeled for us. I first met Fernando during his and Mariel's engagement photos, and although I couldn't understand anything he was saying, I couldn't help but laugh. His wedding day was no different-- he managed to have Melodee and I laughing through all of his pictures. The ceremony was perfect. As family began to leave I was able to grab Fernando and Mariel to take some pictures in the pristine gardens of the mission. We then headed over to the Windhaven Ranch down the road. A massive red barn marked the location that over looked the fields below. It was breathtaking! The reception was full of tradition and heritage. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture this day for the both of you.
