Hamon Family...love wins

I don't think words can capture A.) what this family means to me and B.) what is going on behind these pictures. Meet the Hamons. This incredible group is our Paso family and they are an amazing testimony that God is still good. 2014 has been a year that will forever change us all and it still feels like a surreal experience. Having lost their adorable middle child, Soren, in March to a drowning accident, John, Shiloh, Jack and Selah are learning what it means to walk in complete and total reliance on the Lord through the hurt and pain. Tears fill my eyes as I write this because watching a friend suffer without really knowing how to help sucks but I can say that I have never been more proud of this group. They are choosing to say that LOVE WINS regardless the circumstances and God is STILL so GOOD. Yes, we hurt and yes we miss Soren more than words but we choose to trust even when the road is cloudy. So taking these pictures last week was not a highlight for anyone but my heart did sing seeing the smiles on their faces through this journey. I ask you to continue to pray for the Hamons, especially during the Christmas season, and remember that love wins. (to hear their story, click here...bring the tissues)
